Student Life

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the guidelines followed by the school, extracurricular activities are currently put on pause. We hope to resume these opportunities for out students as restrictions ease.

The Cardinal Shehan School places an emphasis on developing the whole individual. This includes allowing students to learn and grow through opportunities outside of the classroom.

The Cardinal Shehan school has offered numerous sports throughout its lifetime, and is looking forward to resume these opportunities when it is safe to do so.

Arts & Music

Many families first hear about Cardinal Shehan through discussions of its nationally recognized choir. We offer students the opportunity to develop their artistic talents while they are with us through both visual and performing arts.

Clubs & Activities

Emphasizing the ability to problem-solve and live in the real world, the Cardinal Shehan School offers numerous clubs and activities for students to think creatively and become leaders outside of the classroom.

Positive School Environment

To foster a positive school environment where all students are educated in a safe and caring atmosphere, all Archdiocesan schools will follow established procedures for prevention and intervention for bullying, harassment or intimidation.

Positive Behavioral Intervention & Supports (PBIS) has been implemented in every Archdiocesan elementary and high school to enhance academic and social behavior outcomes for all students.
