With a focus on academic excellence, Catholic faith and values, and access to new technology, Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of Baltimore prepare students for a successful future.
Learn MoreThe Cardinal Shehan School is a peaceful school community dedicated to maintaining and upholding Catholic traditions. We strive to create excellent students ready to go out into the world, and pursue the truth.
We serve students in grades Pre-K3 through 8 by cultivating peaceful leaders ready to take on what high school and beyond brings into their lives. Our graduates have reached success in numerous ways by pursuing terminal degrees in their fields of studies, becoming educators, and serving the community where their stories first began.
Our faculty, staff and administration welcome you as you learn more about our school, and we cannot wait to see you during your visit to Cardinal Shehan.
Parents are the original lines of education for students. We strive to create an environment that paves the way for clear communication, allowing you to be informed of all that is happening inside and outside of the classroom.

Our annual Christmas Program will be held on December 14, 2023. Time: 6 PM
The holidays are near, and as a special service, our school is hosting a Kids' Kastle Holiday Shop. Children will have the opportunity to pick out their own inexpensive, high-quality gifts for family and friends. The Kids' Kastle Holiday Shop is a program designed to allow children to shop independently at their school - in a safe and familiar environment. They can learn valuable skills such as planning, budgeting, and decision-making while experiencing the joy of giving.
Save the date! December 15, 2023, is our Movie / Pajama Day. Our Pk3 - 5 students will wear pajamas. Grades 6-8th will wear sweats. No house slippers will be allowed. Hot chocolate will be served.
