The Cardinal Shehan School provides our students in grades Pre-K3 through eighth grade with a quality Catholic Education that fullfills the academic, developmental, and spiritual needs of our students As a part of the Archdiocese of Baltimore the academics at our school incorporates the course of study developed and approved by the Division of Catholic Schools for the Archdiocese of Baltimore

Our curriculum is developed following the guidelines set forth by the Archdiocese of Baltimore. We provide the tools necessary to follow the values of the full Archdiocese as related to providing education for our students. The curriculum is designed to prepare students to be Catholic, College, and Career Ready. 

Catholic School Academics Program

Early Education: The Cardinal Shehan School values the importance of providing the tools necessary to construct the foundation of education for our youngest learners. The underlying instructional strategy in early education throughout preschool is the use of organized and free-play activities that are intended to provide opportunities for the child to interact, explore and relate successfully in his/her environment.
