We hope your summer is going great! This July has been a busy month at Cardinal Shehan as we prepare for a  2024.2025 school year of excellence for our wonderful students and families. We are thrilled about the upcoming school year and are fully committed to making it an amazing one.

There is no better time to be a Cardinal Shehan student!

Enhanced Educational Programming:  Both returning and new teachers are busy planning for excellence in every aspect of the instructional and extracurricular programming at Cardinal Shehan School. From the enhanced pre-kindergarten, grade level, and special area curriculums, to the updated Library, Science, Social Studies, English Language Arts, and Mathematics and Religion programs, labs, and opportunities, preparations are underway for learning and growing!

 The ‘Wings of Peace:’ The administrative and facilities team have been working hard to make amazing changes to our school. The auditorium and cafeteria are being upgraded, the floors are being waxed and shined, and school repairs and beautifications are underway from top to bottom for a whole new look and a bright new year at Cardinal Shehan School. Our transformed ‘Wings of Peace' include the Middle School, Elementary, and Early Childhood Wings and our new 'Rise Up' Arts & Science Wing. 

Mid-Summer is Here: At this mid-summer juncture, and in response to your many requests for excellence in family communication, we are getting the important dates for the 2024-2025 school year out to you early!   You can find our upcoming events on the Cardinal Shehan Event Calendar and important dates such as the first day of school on the Calendar at a Glance and the 2024-2025 SCHOOL SUPPLY LIST

Welcome Back Events: This year, we are thrilled to show our appreciation to our wonderful students. Join us for an Ice Cream Social and/or Popsicles on the Playground event in August to receive a free backpack and meet our fantastic returning and new teachers.

Student Referral Bonus: Have you heard? We have an amazing referral program because we believe that our families are our best ambassadors and play a crucial role in building a strong and vibrant school community. We would like to invite you to participate in spreading the word and encouraging new students to apply to Cardinal Shehan School, come for a summer tour, meet the administrative team, and learn about the benefits of being a CSS student and becoming a part of the Cardinal Shehan School Family.   For each new student that you enroll in Cardinal Shehan School and list you as a reference for the 2024-2025 school year, you will a $1,000 tuition credit for the 2024-25 SY
